TERMS OF ENROLMENT

Welcome to Elle Arts Performing Arts School. We look forward to your child becoming a part of our Elle Arts family and we want to thank you for choosing to train with us.  

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before enrolling your child in our classes. 

1. Enrolment:

1.1. Enrolment in Elle Arts Performing Arts School is open to individuals aged 2-18 years old. 

1.2. A completed enrolment form, signed by a parent/legal guardian, must be submitted prior to a child attending any class or activity. Individuals aged 18 can sign this agreement without the need for a parent’s/legal guardian’s authorisation. 

1.3. Enrolment is on a month-by-month basis, and fees must be paid in advance for each month. 

1.4. Fees are non-refundable unless the school cancels the class or activity. Cancellations due to force majeure will not incur any refunds. 

1.5. Parent/legal guardian is required to provide a minimum of 4-weeks’ notice in writing from the date of the class in the event of a planned arrangement which will require the child to be absent. Reimbursement will be processed in the following month, if applicable.  

1.6. Elle Arts Performing Arts School will remain open during the school holidays. 

2. Conduct & Discipline:

2.1. All students are expected to behave appropriately and respectfully towards other students, teachers, and staff always. 

2.2. The school reserves the right to suspend or expel a student for inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to bullying, harassment, or violence. 

2.3. The school also reserves the right to terminate enrolment of a student who consistently misses classes without notice or explanation. Full payment will still apply under these circumstances.  

3. Health & Safety:

3.1. All students must be in good health and free from contagious illnesses to attend classes or activities. 

3.2. Parents/legal guardians must inform the school of any medical conditions, allergies, or other health issues that may affect their child's participation in classes or activities. 

3.3. The school is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property that may occur during classes or activities. 

4. Media Content Use:

4.1. The child may be photographed, recorded and video-recorded by Elle Arts and its appointed agents (“Company”) in connection with their participation in any Elle Arts related events during the course of their involvement at the Elle Arts Performing Arts School. 

4.2. The company and its affiliates reserve the rights to copyright, publish, reproduce, exhibit, transmit, broadcast, televise, digitize, display, otherwise use, and permit others to use, (a) the child’s name, image, likeness, and voice, and (b) all photographs, recordings, videotapes, audio-visual materials, writings, statements, and quotations of or by the child (collectively, the “Materials”), in any manner, form, or format whatsoever now or hereinafter created, including on the Internet, and for any purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising or promotion of Company, its affiliates, or their services, without further consent from customer on a royalty-free basis. 

4.3. It is understood that all the Materials, including but not limited to films, audiotapes, videotapes, reproductions, media, plates, negatives, photocopies, and electronic and digital copies of the Materials, are the sole property of Company. I agree not to contest the rights or authority granted to Company hereunder. I hereby forever release and discharge Company, its employees, licensees, agents, successors, and assigns from any claims, actions, damages, liabilities, costs, or demands whatsoever arising by reason of defamation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, copyright infringement, or any other personal or property rights from or related to any use of the Materials. I understand that Company is under no obligation to use the Materials.  

5. Privacy:

5.1. The school will keep all personal information about students and their families confidential and will not share it with any third parties unless required by law. 

5.2. The school may use personal information for internal purposes, such as billing and administration. 

6. Dress Code:

6.1. Each student is required to attend classes in the appropriate uniform and footwear as directed by the school.

6.2 Elle Arts branded products (i.e all items with Elle Arts Intellectual Property) must be purchased through Elle Arts Performing Arts School.  

7. Payments & Penalties:

7.1. Payments will be made monthly to the company on the 1st of every month in line with the invoices. 

7.2. Parent/legal guardian agrees to make these payments in a timely manner via bank transfer by the 1st of every month. For new students starting classes after the 1st of the month, payments must be received before attending the next scheduled class.  

7.3. The company reserves the right to apply a late payment fee as a penalty for overdue invoice payments.  

7.4. The school reserves the right to suspend or terminate the student's enrolment if fees remain unpaid for more than 2 weeks after the due date. 

7.5. Any outstanding fees may be referred to a collection agency or legal action may be taken to recover the debt. 

7.6. The student and their parent/guardian are responsible for all costs and expenses, including legal fees, associated with recovering any overdue fees. 

8. Cancellation:

8.1. In the event of a cancellation, parent/legal guardian must provide four-weeks' notice to the school in writing. 

8.2. If the cancellation is made less than 4 weeks in advance, the school reserves the right to retain 50% of the fees. 

8.3. The school may waive or reduce these fees at its discretion in exceptional circumstances, such as illness or injury preventing attendance.  

9. Changes to Terms & Conditions:

9.1. The school reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time. 

9.2. Any changes will be communicated to parents or legal guardians in writing.
